Deutsch The Post-COVID Challenge, initiated by Germany’s Federal Ministries of the Interior and for Economic Affairs, is accelerating the use of health data. The winning project, Datennexus, is a proposal developed by a consortium led by European consultancy firm d-fine. NFDI4Health contributes a comprehensive data catalogue, facilitating efficient data discovery.

The third Research Data Day took place in Bremen on 11 June 2025 – an event designed to promote exchange on current developments in research data management. Organised by the U Bremen Research Alliance, the day was held under the motto “FAIR Future Skills” and attracted around 200 students and researchers. NFDI4Health contributed with several presentations.
The MIE 2025 in Glasgow highlighted the need for a better network and the importance of interoperability in healthcare. NFDI4Health presented concrete solutions for a sustainable and interoperable research infrastructure in workshops and panels.

The first General Assembly of the Network for University Medicine (NUM) Study Network and the Specialist Network on Infections took place on 13 and 14 May 2025 at the Observatory of the Physical Society in Frankfurt am Main. NFDI4Health participated in discussions on the latest developments of the research network and provided an overview of health data infrastructures in a workshop.
