The Medical Informatics Europe conference (MIE 2026) will take place in Genova from 25 to 28 May 2026. Under the theme “Opening the Personal Gate between Technology and Health Care”, the international event will bring together experts from research, healthcare and digitalisation. NFDI4Health is represented with several contributions.

MIE 2026 focuses on current developments at the intersection of technology and healthcare. Topics such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, interoperability, education, ethics and patient-centred care will be at the heart of the conference. Researchers, clinicians, policy-makers and innovators from across Europe will gather in Genoa to discuss the latest findings and developments in medical informatics.
