The Medical Informatics Europe conference (MIE 2026) will take place in Genova from 25 to 28 May 2026. Under the theme “Opening the Personal Gate between Technology and Health Care”, the international event will bring together experts from research, healthcare and digitalisation. NFDI4Health will contribute with a presentation on innovative teaching concepts for medical research data.

MIE 2026 focuses on current developments at the intersection of technology and healthcare. Topics such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, interoperability, education, ethics and patient-centred care will be at the heart of the conference. Researchers, clinicians, policy-makers and innovators from across Europe will gather in Genoa to discuss the latest findings and developments in medical informatics.

NFDI4Health will contribute with the following presentation:

The presentation highlights practice-oriented teaching approaches for the integration of medical research data and underlines NFDI4Health’s commitment to education, data literacy and sustainable research data infrastructures in healthcare.
