NFDI4Health launches second user survey

NFDI4Health invites everyone to participate in our second user survey. The user survey is designed to capture the perspectives and needs of the research community and help NFDI4Health tailor the services provided accordingly. 

NFDI4Health at the Data Train Kick-off event 2024

Data Train is a training program that teaches skills of data literacy to scientists of all career levels. The hybrid course is a key element of the NFDI4Health training approach and aims at building the next generation of data-savvy researchers. Iris Pigeot, co-spokesperson of NFDI4Health, is one of the enthusiastic lecturers of the program and opened the Data Train Kick-off event 2024 in a festive speech.

NFDI4Health Steering Committee defines goals for 2024

The NFDI4Health Steering Committee met to define the objectives for 2024 and discuss the 2nd application phase during a two-day retreat last week in Göttingen. It was an inspiring exchange with innovative results.

Follow-up: NFDI4Health presents FAIR data training at the International Data Week

The International Data Week was hosted by the University of Salzburg from 23 to 26 October 2023. The event brought together international researchers to discuss the opportunities and frontiers of data in research. NFDI4Health presented the relevance of data stewards and training concepts in data management to build a FAIR infrastructure in health research.

Follow-up: NFDI4Health presents metadata schema at the EFMI Special Topic Conference

This year's Special Topic Conference (STC) of the European Federation of Medical Informatics (EFMI) took place in Turin from 25 to 27 October 2023. The EFMI working group “FAIR data in Health Research Performing Organizations” and HL7 Europe hosted the workshop "Discussing FHIR implementations with regard to the FAIR data principles". NFDI4Health presented the FHIR implementation of its metadata schema.

NFDI4Health published training concepts on research data management

The digital transformation and the increasing importance of health science data are challenging our society. It is essential to equip everyone involved in health research with the skills to handle and understand datasets and thereby enable them to make informed decisions. A handbook on training concepts on research data management in health research published by NFDI4Health provides new methods and approaches.
