NFDI4Health invites applications for project funding in the area of research data management. The focus is on the practical use and critical evaluation of NFDI4Health FAIR services. Applications may be submitted until 27 February 2026.

NFDI4Health promotes new approaches to the scientific use of personal health data in accordance with the FAIR principles and provides the necessary infrastructure and services. To encourage the active use of these services and to identify open challenges in research data management, NFDI4Health is launching a funding call in 2026. Eligible to apply are German institutions that already use the NFDI4Health FAIR-Services or plan to do so.

Funding volume: up to 75% of a research position (TV-L 13, doctoral researcher or equivalent)
Application deadline: 27 February 2026
Project duration: up to 30 months
