The third Research Data Day took place in Bremen on 11 June 2025 – an event designed to promote exchange on current developments in research data management. Organised by the U Bremen Research Alliance, the day was held under the motto “FAIR Future Skills” and attracted around 200 students and researchers. NFDI4Health contributed with several presentations.
The first General Assembly of the Network for University Medicine (NUM) Study Network and the Specialist Network on Infections took place on 13 and 14 May 2025 at the Observatory of the Physical Society in Frankfurt am Main. NFDI4Health participated in discussions on the latest developments of the research network and provided an overview of health data infrastructures in a workshop.
The NFDI4Health Health Study Hub has undergone a fundamental upgrade to make access to study information easier, faster, and more intuitive for users. New features, expanded content, and technical enhancements now enable datasets to be found and reused more efficiently.
The MIE 2025 in Glasgow highlighted the need for a better network and the importance of interoperability in healthcare. NFDI4Health presented concrete solutions for a sustainable and interoperable research infrastructure in workshops and panels.
In order to provide better support to researchers, NFDI consortia from the geosciences, chemistry, and life sciences are intensifying their collaboration.
Our new podcast series “Research Data: Handle With Care” explores research data management and its related fields. Created as a part of an NFDI4Health-sponsored workshop, it highlights the practical benefits of responsible and sustainable data management for researchers.
From 26 to 28 March 2025, the conference of the Network for Evidence-Based Medicine (EbM) took place at the University of Freiburg. NFDI4Health was represented with a workshop that introduced participants to the basics of research data management and the FAIR sharing of study data.
