The HL7 FHIR DevDays are the largest international event focused on the FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) exchange standard for healthcare data. This year, the FHIR DevDays will take place from 10 to 13 June 2024 in Minneapolis.

The Research Data Day in Bremen offers researchers and interested parties insights into best practices and current challenges in handling research data. NFDI4Health is participating in the event with several contributions.

NFDI4Health opens its Friday Lecture on 5 April 2024 on the topic of the Health Data Utilization Act (GDNG). Prof. Dr. Dennis-Kenji Kipker will provide information on innovations and special features of the law and give insights into the controversies. The lecture will take place online and is open4all.
NFDI4Health is co-organizer of the tutorial "Aligning the FAIR data principles and HL7 FHIR profiling" at the 15th International SWAT4HCLS Conference "Semantic Web Applications and Tools for Health Care and Life Sciences" on 26 February 2024 in Leiden, Netherlands.
On 13 March 2024 a parliamentary breakfast on record linkage is hosted in Berlin. NFDI4Health, political representatives and other experts on health research have been invited. The objective of the meeting is to discuss the importance of linking health data in Germany.
