NFDI4Health Annual Meeting 2024 in Potsdam

The consortium meeting of NFDI4Health took place on 7th and 8th October 2024 in Potsdam. We reflected on the past year and set the course for future projects and our role in Europe. The days were characterised by intensive collaboration and open exchange!

NFDI4Health at the DataSHIELD Conference.

The international DataSHIELD community met from 24 to 26 September 2024 at the University of Bonn for this year’s conference. The focus was on presentations about the technical and conceptual development of the software, as well as successful use cases. NFDI4Health showcased its applications and innovations.

NFDI4Health at ‘Data Stewardship goes Germany’

On 11 and 12 September, the central network meeting of German data stewards took place in Aachen. This year, the focus of the conference was on building and strengthening networks in the community.  

NFDI4Health made a strong presence at “Gesundheit Gemeinsam”

NFDI4Health can look back on a successful participation to the "Gesundheit Gemeinsam" event at the German Hygiene Museum Dresden. The conference, which attracted over 1800 participants, provided a central platform for the exchange of ideas on current developments in health research and data infrastructure.

NFDI4Health welcomes objectives of new Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information

NFDI4Health congratulates Prof. Dr. Louisa Specht-Riemenschneider on her appointment as Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

The annual conference of the European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI), the Medical Informatics Europe conference (MIE), took place from 25 to 29 August in Athens. NFDI4Health contributed two workshops to the event.

NFDI4Health and GHGA strengthen cooperation

NFDI4Health and GHGA are collaborating to advance biomedical and genomic research. They aim to simplify the exchange of health data by developing common standards for technology, law, and ethics. The goals of this collaboration have now been formalized in a Memorandum of Understanding.
