In Episode 01 “Research Data Management 4 All” we talk about why research data management is applicable and beneficial for every research question. The host of this episode Stephanie Werner works for the Hessian research data infrastructure initiative HeFDI as well as for the GesundFDM project focussing on challenges regarding research data management in health-related sciences. She’s passionate about Data Literacy. The guest Sven Bordach works for the University and City Library Cologne and NFDI4Health as a project manager and data steward. He focuses on the development of training materials and community outreach.
In Episode 02 "Bringing Change Through Data Stewardship" we discuss the role of teamwork in data management within academia. We have a look at the challenges of project-based work and explore how long-term infrastructure solutions and data stewards can contribute to overcoming these challenges in the future. The host, Dorothee Urbaum, works for the HERMES Data Competence Centre (Humanities Education in Research, Data, and Methods). She is passionate about Digital Humanities and presents this episode. Our guest is Jens Dierkes, Deputy Head of the Research and Publication Services Department at the University Library of Cologne. He is involved in community tasks, training, and data stewardship at NFDI4Health.
