Health Research: How Can My Data Help?

The event "Health Research: How Can My Data Help?" on 9 April 2024 at the Schlaues Haus Oldenburg provides insight into the world of health research and the possibilities of citizen participation. We will begin by presenting results from various research projects focusing on Citizen Science in the use of personal health data. Following this, we invite you to participate in a discussion focusing on a portal developed by the NFDI4Health initiative, enabling active citizen participation in health research. This portal aims to make research findings accessible to the public in understandable language and initiates a dialogue between the public and researchers via a feedback platform. Together, let's discuss how citizens can learn more about their data and actively take part in research.

NFDI4Health emphasizes the importance of public involvement in health research. Through citizen participation, we aim to strengthen trust in research, enhance the quality and relevance of scientific work, and foster improved collaboration between science, society, and policy. We seek to drive innovation and promote health research.

We cordially invite you to participate in this exciting exchange and join us for coffee and cake to learn more about health research. The event is free of charge and open to all interested parties.
