Deutsch Children and adolescents were particularly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, good data proving the concrete consequences has often been lacking or difficult to find. A new cooperation between the coverCHILD and NFDI4Health projects aims to change this. At the centre of the cooperation is the German Central Health Study Hub, which enables coverCHILD to make study results on COVID-19 and its consequences for children and adolescents easier to find.

On 20 and 21 June, the Federal Ministry of Health organised the "Data for Health Conference 2023". Leading experts from the USA and Europe discussed the framework conditions and possibilities for the use of health data. NFDI4Health took the opportunity to present two innovative approaches based on Code2Data technology to the expert audience from science and politics.

It is currently difficult to conduct research on international health data. What problems exist, how the hurdles can be overcome, how data can remain secure but still make more research possible - this is the topic of an international health data congress on 20-21 June 2023 in Berlin. The NFDI4Health will be there.
