Deutsch The second in-person workshop of NFDI BioMed focused on the future of our services in the field of biomedical data and on coordinating outreach strategies. Back in 2024, NFDI executives set joint goals and future activities for the NFDI BioMed network. Now we discussed how we can bundle our offerings and strengths to create the most user-friendly offerings possible for researchers working with biomedical data. We identified similarities and differences between our consortia in terms of websites, metadata, training, help desks, and services, and we want to continue to work closely with the NFDI BioMed community in this area!

Representatives of the biomedical NFDI consortia - NFDI4Health, GHGA, NFDI4BIOIMAGE, NFDI4Immuno, and NFDI4Microbiota - met for the NFDI BioMed Workshop in Cologne in December 2025. The workshop aimed to strengthen cross-consortium exchange and joint communication activities.
