Funding is provided to data-holding organisations, particularly the academic clinical trial centres of the KKS network and the data integration centres of the Medical Informatics Initiative. The aim is to support the prototypical implementation of a Local Data Hub for the systematic description and archiving of research studies. This includes the objectives and descriptions of the studies, the parties involved and other study documents, publications and references to the data. The metadata are intended to be made globally visible through a central component, the NFDI4Health German Central Health Study Hub.
Applicants can choose from three tracks: clinical trial centres, data integration centres, and health data-holding organisations. Each track supports approximately three applicants. Supported projects will receive assistance through workshops and a financial contribution of 6,000€ for personnel costs.
