Biomedical researchers work with a wide range of data - from clinical or epidemiological study data organised in tabular form to image data and genomic sequences. This diversity is also reflected within the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). Five consortia serve as contact points for biomedical research.

First NFDI BioMed Workshop

To enable closer collaboration, NFDI4Health, NFDI4Bioimage, NFDI4Immuno, NFDI4Microbiota, and GHGA are hosting the first workshop of the biomedical consortia in the NFDI from 25 to 27 November 2024 in Heidelberg. Juliane Fluck, Jens Dierkes, Ulrich Sax, Birte Lindstädt, and Julia Fürst are part of the participating NFDI4Health team. The focus of the workshop is to provide a comprehensive overview of existing services in the field of biomedical research data management. On this basis, synergies can be identified, and in the first step, cross-consortia use cases can be developed.
