This online training introduces key principles and practical approaches to Research Data Management (RDM) in biomedical and health research. Participants will explore the research data lifecycle, FAIR Data Principles, metadata and documentation, data quality, sharing and reuse, and common challenges in managing sensitive and heterogeneous health research data.

A particular focus will be placed on how NFDI4Health services and resources can support researchers in implementing good RDM and FAIR practices.
 
After the training, participants should be able to:

  • Explain key concepts in biomedical RDM principles.
  • Understand the research data lifecycle.
  • Explain and apply FAIR principles.
  • Recognise common FAIR implementation challenges.
  • Understand metadata and documentation practices.
  •  Identify relevant NFDI4Health services and resources.
