The Scientific Advisory Board advises the consortium on all substantive matters to achieve the project goals. It is composed of seven experts in the fields of data science and research data management. The Advisory Board identifies critical issues and emerging trends. He supports and advises NFDI4Health in developing its strategy for research data management and internationalisation. In addition, it evaluates the work programme and progress of NFDI4Health and reviews and provides guidance on proposals and plans. The Advisory Board meets annually, and its members participate in the sessions of the General Assembly.
